Mel and Pat Davis have been trading on the Costa Blanca for over 25 years. Initially our business was the first English embroidery service on the Costa Blanca, and it was through this that we became involved with all Bowls Clubs as and when they started up.

Dealing with new Bowls Clubs it soon became apparent that bowling equipment was not available in Spain, members were having to travel to the U.K. to buy specialist clothing, footwear, bowls and bags. (Web sites were unheard of at this time). After many requests for shoes etc. we decided to look into importing equipment needed. At a time before Spain joined the EU this was not an easy task. However we persevered with goods being impounded by customs, goods being “lost in transit” etc.

How times have changed! today it is a lot easier to import goods from the UK however transport costs to Spain are expensive and we pride ourselves on supplying quality goods at prices comparable to any UK supplier.
 
We opened our first Bowls Shop at Javea Green Bowls Club in 1997 and the second in  the South Costa Blanca in 2003. We also travel on a monthly basis to Almeria to supply bowls clubs in the area.We offer a postal service to the Costa del Sol.

Due to the recession and a lack of clubs in the North Costa Blanca unfortunately we had to close the Javea shop in 2009, but continue to supply the northern clubs.
We are proud to have supplied all Finalists shirts of the Spanish Nationals Competitions from inception.

We have a full in house embroidery service and embroider club badges together with name if required FREE OF CHARGE to all our garments.

We have been involved in organising many tours of the English National Association of Visually Handicapped Bowlers, of which Pat’s mother is President. The first tour  organised in 1990 was the first of any such club to visit Spain, the second visit was accompanied by Tony Allcock MBE who at the time was the World Singles Champion
